About the role

As a Site Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of construction activities on the Afrexim Trade Center Bank project in the New Capital. You will ensure that works are carried out according to drawings, specifications, and approved method statements, while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety standards.

You will report directly to the Construction Manager and play a key role in coordinating site activities, supervising teams, and ensuring smooth workflow on site.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications
• Coordinate with supervisors, surveyors, and subcontractors to ensure proper execution
• Monitor site progress and report deviations from the project schedule
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and coordinate with QC Engineer for inspections
• Implement approved method statements and construction procedures on site
• Ensure proper use of materials, manpower, and equipment to maintain productivity
• Coordinate with HSE team to enforce safety requirements on site
• Review and verify site measurements and quantities executed
• Prepare daily site reports and update progress records
• Identify and resolve site issues that may affect progress or quality
• Coordinate with Planning Engineer to align execution with project schedule
• Support in minimizing rework and maintaining work efficiency

• Location: New Administrative Capital – Egypt
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Project-Based Role
• Working Hours: As per site requirements

Candidate requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 03–05 years of experience in construction projects
• Strong experience in concrete works and structural execution
• Very good understanding of construction drawings and specifications
• Experience working on large-scale or fast-track projects is preferred
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with basic planning and reporting tools
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Very good English language “written & speaking” is a must
